Another Day, Another Book - And a Free One Too...

Image
Soooo, it's only been two weeks since last I was here and once again the time has flown. Along Came Dani has been accepted by my publisher and I'm expecting the edits to come through any day now. Under the Full Blooded Moon is with the final line editor. In the meantime, I flipped manuscript. I'm quite happily writing Hunter's Quest, but no, If Love Had Wings, the second book in my Montgomery's Sin Series insisted that I pay it some attention. At the rate I have been hurling out the words lately, I hope I'll have this one wrapped up by the end of June. I'm currently at 30,000 words with it and as anybody who knows me will tell you I'm a true panster, but once I have my story in mind, it flows. And this one is flowing. By the way, if you haven't tried my books yet, and you'd like to give them a go, this weekend the first in my Atlantic Divide Series is free. Gun Shy The subject of his grandmother’s enthusiasm to marry him off, Sheriff...

Resplendent Ruin (Resplendence #1) - Bella J - Cover Reveal

Image
A very warm welcome to Bella J who is visiting to let us see her brand new cover revealed in all its gorgeous glory. Hi, Bella Come and tell us a little about your adventure in getting this far. Oh boy, the last couple of months have been both exciting and hectic.  But I have to admit… I love every minute of it! I really didn’t think my work would ever get published.  Not because I think my writing isn’t any good – but because I know that there are thousands – millions – of brilliant writers out there who write the most amazing stories.  And the romance genre?  Wow, there are millions of romance novels out there, so the competition is real tight.  But what do you know… in two months’ time my work is going to be out there for the world to see, and I am stoked. Ever since I signed my first contract back in June, this publishing process has literally taken over my life!  But in a good way – for me .  I think my poor husband is...

I'm Joining the Ladies at Silken Sheets and Seduction

Image
What a great time it is. I've been asked to join the gorgeous ladies at Silken Sheets and Seduction where I'll have two regular blog dates every month, so I'm going to have to get a little inventive. You wouldn't think that would be difficult for an author, but I always find it much harder to write non-fiction. This week's wasn't difficult at all, though. I just spoke about the cowboy in my head. Why don't you drop by and see what I had to say? http://bit.ly/1RGOLED   In the meantime, here's an excerpt from one of my cowboy stories: From the darkened protection of the corner of the room, Flynn watched the curvy little brunette with the bubbly hair bounce around, microphone in hand, wailing her heart out with obvious enjoyment. The sight of her large rounded breasts as they jiggled merrily along with the tune heated his stomach and threatened to move lower. She’d flicked several glances in his direction, and each time she did, he sank farth...

First in Series - Atlantic Divide - A Mother's Day Excerpt

Image
Hiding from the horrors of her past, the last thing quiet, shy Lydia thinks she needs is a persistent cowboy who not only wants to strip away her clothes but the layers of her secrets too. What Sam wants is more than just skin deep. Little by little, as Lydia’s past starts to reveal itself, Sam sees a woman who has never been afraid, who was bold and adventurous, talented, and exciting. As Sam discovers the truths Lydia has buried in her heart, her nightmares of the past become stronger and her fear of the future threatens to jeopardize everything. Excerpt Just as Sam poured himself another cup of coffee, Aaron’s quiet, gentle voice interrupted the adults.“Do you need Mummy to give you another kiss to keep you from falling off the horse today, Sam?” He didn’t quite bobble his coffee so much as spill a little of the hot liquid over the side, scalding his hand as he turned to face the youngster. Lydia was engrossed in ripping up a slice of toast on her plate. Kate stared a...
